The City of Olympia Park Stewardship Program is celebrating public lands! This fun and exciting stewardship work party for National Public Lands Day connects our communities through volunteerism. Squaxin Park needs your help with environmental restoration! Join us as we remove English ivy and Himalayan blackberry from overtaking the beautiful trails. Tools, gloves, and light refreshments will be provided.
For all work parties, please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes or boots that can get wet and muddy. Volunteers are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle. An adult must accompany youth under 14 and all youth under 18 must have an online waiver signed by a parent/guardian. All ages are welcome! Please arrive 10 minutes early to park and sign in.
