Join Stream Team and Olympia Parks, Arts and Recreation for a day of restoration on Indian Creek. . The native trees and shrubs along Indian Creek work hard to filter pollution from nearby roadways and soak up extra rainwater to reduce flooding. This important habitat also provides food and shelter to a diversity of wildlife. Join us for a planting work party where we’ll be transforming a former grassy lawn into additional native habitat along the creek. All ages are welcome, bring a friend and join the community in our restoring parks! Face masks are required when within 6 feet of another person. Registration required through Stream Team, https://streamteam.kinsta.cloud/events/. For more information, contact Kym Foley at kfoley@ci.olympia.wa.us.
