Winter is here! That means it is time to plant in Western Washington. Many of our parks do not have an irrigation system in the forested areas, so we rely on the rainy season to water the newly planted vegetation. This work party will focus on pulling English ivy and planting lovely rhododendrons. The park is located at 2600 East Bay Drive NE. Directional signs will be posted inside the park. We will meet just south of the playground.
For all work parties, please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes or boots that can get wet and muddy. Volunteers are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle. An adult must accompany youth under the age of 14 and any youth under 18 years of age without an adult present must have an online waiver signed electronically by a parent/guardian, located on the right side of this page.
