Join Stream Team and City of Olympia staff for a day of restoration at Indian Creek. We’ll remove English Ivy, Himalayan blackberry, and western clematis along the Karen Fraser Woodland Trail. Clearing the way for planting Pacific Northwest species later this winter will create a healthier plant community. This important habitat also provides food and shelter to a diversity of wildlife. Registration is required through Stream Team, https://streamteam.info/events/#event-calendar.
Please dress for the weather for all work parties and wear sturdy shoes or boots that can get wet and muddy. Volunteers are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle. An adult must accompany youth under the age of 14, and any youth under 18 without an adult present must have an online waiver signed electronically by a parent/guardian.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to park and sign in.
