Description

Happy PRIDE Month! Thanks to a microgrant from the American Hiking Society, we are hosting our first National Trails Day Stewardship PRIDE Event to give the LGBTQIA2S+ community an opportunity to share their passion for environmental restoration while feeling safe and celebrated for who they are.
During this family-friendly event, we will remove English ivy and Himalayan blackberry from the wooded trails of Mission Creek Nature Park. We will have community partners, music, and giveaways! Everyone is welcome!

Please dress for the weather for all work parties and wear sturdy shoes or boots that can get wet and muddy. Volunteers are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle. An adult must accompany youth under the age of 14 and any youth under 18 years of age without an adult present must have an online waiver signed electronically by a parent/guardian.

Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to park and sign in.

For more information, please call 360-753-8365 or email parkstewardship@ci.olympia.wa.us.
