2025 Arbor Day Celebration
Each year, the City and its partners host a variety of Arbor Day events to celebrate the beauty and many benefits of forests, with opportunities to plant new trees for future generations. Join us downtown this year at the Heritage Fountain on Saturday, October 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for our 2025 Arbor Day celebration! Stop by during Arts Walk to join us for the festivities:

This year, the City is launching the development of an Urban Forest Management Plan, and staff from multiple departments will be there to exchange ideas and answer questions. The plan will address the City’s practices and priorities to ensure our urban forest, which includes trees in parks, along streets, in back yards, and everywhere in between, is healthy and thriving long into the future.
