Join staff and stewards as we will be starting our efforts in removing invasive plant species, including Scotch broom and Himalayan blackberry at this newly acquired parcel. They will go to seed soon, with Scotch broom seeds able to stay dormant in the soil for up to 50 years. The parcel is located 0.2 miles west of Cooper Point Road on Kaiser Road NW. Directional signs will be posted. Street parking available. Meet just inside the fence. See photo of map.

Due to Covid-19, the following safety protocols are now in place:

- Tools will be sanitized before and after each work party.
- Hand sanitizer will be provided as well as a handwashing station and paper towels at parks without restrooms.
- We will continue to supply you with gloves but you are welcome to bring your own from home.
Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes or boots that can get wet and muddy for all work parties. Volunteers are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle. An adult must accompany youth under the age of 14 and any youth under 18 years of age without an adult present must have an online waiver signed electronically by a parent/guardian.
