Invasive plant species continue to choke out the native vegetation. The focus will be on removing English ivy, Himalayan blackberry and other non-native plants. Sturdy work boots/shoes a must! The park is located at 1600 10th Ave SE. Limited parking available. Meet inside the park by the large walnut tree.
For all work parties, please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes or boots that can get wet and muddy. Volunteers are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle. An adult must accompany youth under the age of 14 and any youth under 18 years of age without an adult present must have an online waiver signed electronically by a parent/guardian, located on the right side of this page. All ages are welcome to participate!
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to park and sign-in.
