Join the Friends of LBA Woods on Saturday June 29 10 a.m.-1 p.m. This work party will focus on removing invasive English holly trees, English laurel, and another mighty patch of Yellow archangel. To support Olympia Park’s mission to make our parks pesticide and herbicide free, we are attacking archangel and other invasive plants with elbow grease. Our Adopt-A-Park will have a sign-in sheet available. No need to register!
We will meet near the picnic shelter on the west side of LBA Park. The parking lot is located at 3500 Amhurst St SE.
All tools & gloves provided. Snacks and camaraderie, too.
For all work parties, please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes or boots that can get wet and muddy. Volunteers are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle. An adult must accompany youth under the age of 14 and all youth under 18 years of age must have an online waiver signed electronically by a parent/guardian, located on the right side of this page. All ages are welcome to participate!
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to sign in.
