Description

The City of Olympia Parks is partnering with the City of Lacey to celebrate public lands! This fun and exciting stewardship work party for National Public Lands Day connects our communities through volunteerism. Karen Fraser Woodland Trail (previously Olympia & Lacey Woodland Trails) needs your help with environmental restoration! Join us as we remove invasive plant species from overtaking this beautiful trail. Tools, gloves and light refreshments will be provided. We will meet near 3811 Pacific Ave where the Woodland Trail meets the Chehalis Western Trail. Please park in the empty lot at 3811 Pacific Ave, Lacey.

 

For all work parties, please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes or boots that can get wet and muddy. Volunteers are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle. An adult must accompany youth under the age of 14 and all youth under 18 years of age must have an online waiver signed by a parent/guardian, located on the right side of this page. All ages are welcome! Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to park and sign-in.
