Volunteer: Log Cabin Rd. Parcel Volunteer Work Party---Friday, April 24

Join staff and stewards as we continue our efforts to remove  Scotch broom, English ivy, and Himalayan blackberry. The parcel is located at 2220 Log Cabin Rd. SE. Street parking is available. Meet just inside the park.

Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to park and sign in.

For all work parties, please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes or boots that can get wet and muddy. Volunteers are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle. An adult must accompany youth under the age of 14, and any youth under 18 years of age without an adult present must have an online waiver signed electronically by a parent/guardian.

This work party will focus on removing harmful English ivy from areas restored by Park Stewards. They have worked hard for years to clean English ivy and holly from the forested habitats. We will meet at the Flora Vista parking lot, 555 Flora Vista Rd NE, and walk to the work area. Limited parking available.
